Amish Doll $34.95
doll.jpgThe Amish dolls are a favorite for any doll collector, decorator, or child learning about the Amish. The girl doll comes clothed in a colored dress with a black or white apron. The girl with a black apron also holds an “Amish” doll, or a cloth doll with no painted face. The boy doll is wearing a colored shirt with black pants and suspenders.










Favorite Amish Recipes Cookbook Series $5.25/book (3 books total)

These cookbooks were compiled by a local woman whose taste is absolutely delicious. These recipes are family pleasers.

Janet Roney Print: “Amish Blue Curtain” $70
Janet Roney is a local watercolorist known for her scenes of wild prairie grasses and flowers in addition to Amish farm life. This particular print is an amazing watercolor of an Amish house and “dawdy” or grandpa house, each adorned in blue curtains. Only 1,000 prints exist of this print, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Amish Education in the United States & Canada by Mark Dewalt $32.95
edbook.jpgThis descriptive book follows key values such as literacy, community, and accountability within the Amish educational system. The author explains the inception of Amish schools and the struggles endured as a result of developing parochial school houses. The book explores common teaching styles, curriculum and textbooks used in these schools. Autographed copies of this book will be available April 21.

This amazing DVD is a colorful representation of the ways and beliefs that Americans wish they could recapture. This DVD explains the survival of the Amish in the technology-programmed world in which we live. The video is 54 minutes long.
